The Shadow, edition no. 2, page 2, published in 1950.
The first is the initial scan, with all its blemishes and discolourisation intact, reduced
to a height of 600 pixels;
the second, also reduced to the same size, has been digitally cleaned and enhanced.
Please note that in 1950 many Australian comic books were presented in 'landscape' rather
than 'portrait' format — wide rather than long.
